Constable Park is, and always has been, a family-run riverside destination shaped by the people behind it.
From the early days of building the Constable Park Cafe, to welcoming guests by the River Stour today, everything here has been created with care, determination and a genuine love for this stretch of countryside.
Whether you’re joining us for breakfast in the cafe, heading out onto the water or staying overnight in one of our lodges, the team you meet are the same people who helped bring Constable Park to life.
We’re proud of what we’ve built here, and even prouder of the friendly, informal atmosphere that keeps so many visitors coming back.

Ian
Site Owner
Constable Park is the vision of Ian, who project managed the entire build from the ground up. His determination and hands-on approach have shaped Constable Park into what it is today, from the original cafe to the lodge buildings overlooking the River Stour.
Ian is rarely far from the water and loves canoeing along the River Stour. If you have a question about paddling, river conditions or getting started, he’s your go-to.
Sarah
Site Owner
Sarah brings the creative vision to Constable Park. With a love of interiors and design, she shaped the look and feel of the Constable Park Café, creating the warm, welcoming space many of our regulars now know and love.
From the must-see Kingfisher mosaic, to the Heron mosaic in the wellness studio, much of what you see has Sarah’s touch. She’s most proud of the café interior, a space designed to feel relaxed, informal and part of the landscape.
Cafe Team
Meet the Cafe & Watersports Team
Front of House:
Zoe is our Cafe Supervisor & barista, focused on day to day customer cafe experience, staffing and go-to on social media outputs.
Keri is our experienced head barista, focused on day to day quality of our premium coffee, assists Zoe with trending coffee experiences, supports the development of less-experienced staff.
Wendy & Debbie are our all year round experienced cafe hosts, the friendly face to welcome you to the cafe, they support seasonal staff with training and focus on the quality of the customer experience.
Kitchen Team:
Sharan is our Kitchen lead, focused on supervision of the kitchen team and quality of customer food experience. Lois, Rebecca & Cara are our experienced kitchen team members, with a flair for trending menus and excellent home cooked produce.
Watersports Team
Holiday Park & Watersports
Lois is our primary Glamping co-ordinator but multi-skilled and also works in the kitchen and watersports.
Seasonal Staff – We take pride in offering multiple opportunities for seasonal staff to fulfil roles in hospitality within the cafe, kitchen, watersports hire and glamping operations. We have supported many seasonal staff with training and experience, enhancing their personal CVs with both real work experience and qualifications such as Health & Hygiene, First Aid and multiple training courses to gain paddlesport instructor level.
