Constable Park Terms and Conditions

Cancellations and Rescheduling:

In the event that your booking is cancelled, we will reschedule the event and will not issue a refund for the paid amount. If you are unable to reschedule, we will issue a voucher for any of the Constable Park facilities that is valid for 6 months after your cancelled event. 

If you need to reschedule for any reason, this must be done 24 hours before your event to avoid a cancellation fee of the full payment of your event.  

If you are delayed for your allocated booking time without notifying us, Constable Park reserves the right to cancel the booking 15 minutes after the chosen time slot. If we receive notice that you will not make the allocated time slot, we will make our best efforts to reschedule your booking, but cannot guarantee this will be possible and may result in your time slot being reduced or a full cancellation without the possibility of rescheduling. 

If your booking is for a watersports activity, it may be rescheduled in the case of unsafe weather conditions such as wind above 22 knots. If you book a paddleboard and there is strong but not unsafe wind, you may be advised to change to a kayak. If you are not contacted for your event to be rescheduled, it means the weather is safe for your event to go ahead. 

Facilities:

Constable Park is made up of the on-site accommodation, watersports hire, café and wellness studio. While these departments are all a part of the same company, they may operate separately on a given day. A booking in one department does not automatically guarantee availability in another. Please be sure you book under each department you wish to utilize to guarantee a smooth visit to our site. Some of our events such as Paddle, Pizza and Prosecco include a booking of both watersports and a table booking while others are isolated to one department. 

For example: If you book an hour of watersports, we highly recommend booking a table in the cafe to ensure you are able to dine with us following your paddle. 

Our on-site accommodation area and wellness studio is only open to customers who have booked them and their day guests. Please speak to a member of staff if you wish to have a tour.

Café:

For the health, safety, and comfort of all patrons, a shirt and shoes are required to be worn at all times while on the café premises. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone not adhering to this policy.

Watersports:

For all watersports, please be advised: 

• ANGLIA ADVENTURES LTD is not responsible for the use of the equipment. We only provide equipment to be used under the skills and abilities of the hirer, we require no proof of ability and offer no qualified advice or instruction in the use of the equipment and how they are to be used.
• The hirer acknowledges that they are responsible for their own safety and that of their group when hiring equipment, which involves inherent risk.
• The hirer agrees to return the items on the stated day in the condition in which they received them. Any damaged equipment will be charged for at full retail price for replacement or repair if deemed appropriate, regardless of how damage was caused.
• ANGLIA ADVENTURES LTD acts in good will when hiring out equipment and as such expects such from the hirer. We reserve the right to withdraw and collect our equipment at any point and for any reason during a hire period.
• The hirer is satisfied with the serviceable condition of the equipment.
• The hirer is aware that the far bank as you exit the launch area should not be landed on.  If able, they should swim to the near bank if capsized.
• We highly recommend you take a waterproofed phone with you and secure valuable glasses.

Included items in your watersports booking:

• Paddleboard, fin, leash, complete paddle, dry bag and buoyancy aid
• Multi-person Paddleboard, fin, 2 complete paddles, dry bag and buoyancy aids
• Family Kayak, (seats up to 2 adults and small child/dog within craft weight limits) with paddles, dry bag and buoyancy aids
• Extra buoyancy aids (free if child sharing craft within the weight limits for craft)

Weight Guidance:

Tandem Paddleboard – 300kg. Please be aware that the closer you are to the weight limit, the more unstable the craft will become.

• Single Kayak – maximum weight limit is 120kg. Over 100kg will reduce stability and you may be offered a larger craft if available 
• Tandem Kayak – maximum weight limit is 190kg. This could be two adults and include a small child or dog in the centre seat, but still within the weight limit of 190kg. For a single large adult and a child, we may adjust the seat positioning to maintain balance. 
• Single Paddleboard – 200kg. Please be aware that the closer you are to the weight limit, the more unstable the craft will become. 

Age Restrictions:

All under 18’s must be accompanied by someone over the age of 18. We recommend ages 10 or 11 to have sufficient skills for their own craft. There must be a 1 adult to 4 children maximum age ratio. You may contact us to hire an instructor to meet this ratio if needed.
